Rev. Annette Hoare
Chaplain of Seafarets
My ministry to seafarers involves visiting ships in the port of Hamilton on Thursdays. The ship’s chaplain goes on board to ask if the crew needs anything, listen to their stories, and arrange visits to Walmart and other places.
I host seafarers at the Hamilton mission in their small chapel. As the chapel coordinator, I maintain the room to ensure it can be used as a place of quiet prayer. I also offer spiritual direction to other ship visitors and provide biannual training. Additionally, I facilitate three online prayer groups.
The groups meet once a month for about an hour. I am a spiritual director registered with Spiritual Direction International, taking on independent clients who normally find me through my website or workshops that I conduct. I am also a wedding officiant, offering marriage preparation and guidance.

The Most. Rev. Thomas (Tom) Twose, the founding Archbishop for the Community Apostolic Episcopal Church of Canada now retired, remains the Priest in charge of St. Aidans Parish and is available for hospital, and nursing home visits, pastoral visits, pastoral coaching, baptisms, and funerals. Saint Aldan's of the Grey/Bruce focuses on these two great commandments Loving God with all our heart and loving our Neighbor as our selves. When we do that, then all other commandments fall into place.

Rev. Kathy Parker
Retired
I primarily worked with a group called Open Table Communities, which provides a safe space and encouragement to those deconstructing and reconstructing their faith.
As we find groups interested in joining a faith community, the plan was to begin with small groups focusing on faith-based celebrations, creating opportunities for spiritual formation and personal growth.
We fostered a caring community that reflected Jesus Christ's example of serving others. Currently, I am retired in Cobourg, Ontario, where I have a prayer ministry for my former associates in ministry.
